Ok, I am probably the gazillionth person to post about Rory on .NET Rocks... but I have to chime in here.
First let me say that I can't think of very many technical things that I have really learned from .NET Rocks. I mean think about it, most of the stuff on there I have either read about in a book, article, or on someone's blog. If the purpose of .NET rocks was to distill technical knowledge then it would sound more like a training session than a talk show.
But you know what I have learned? The fact that Don Box might of gotten a look at Rory private member. I have also learned what some of those people whose books and blogs I read sound like, and where they live, and what they think is cool, and what they do for fun... that is what this show is all about.
Blogs are the same thing, its about getting to know other people... if you are just interested in technical information than perhaps you should stick to google.
Yeah I pretty much just repeated everything that Rory said, but oh well.
My only complaint about the show is that it sounds like Carl has Rory locked in his basement wearing a gimp suit, Rory claims it was his cell phone but I don't buy it.
I think Carl should try out a bunch of guest co-hosts, and Rory should be one of them.
