Feed Description: A technology blog for people enlightened enough to think for themselves
The Crimson Room puzzle has been making its rounds in the blogs today. It starts out as an interesting puzzle, but as you can see there are a lot of people having trouble. If you want a spoiler, you can check here - but I'd suggest trying it yourself (it adds to the enjoyment to do it on your own).
My biggest beef with the puzzle is that you've really got to run it at fullscreen with high resolution in order to hit some of the hotspots (it's Macromedia Flash). Also, some of the hotspots are so miniscule, that they end up spoiling the overall puzzle because you have to click over and over again - making you think there's nothing there.
I finally finished, but the hotspot problem really took away from the enjoyment of just taking a break during the day.
