After installing "Sacred" that finally released
last week and that looks like a worthy successor to "Diablo
II", I must say that I am very impressed by the single-player campaign
mode, which has the potential to un-throne Diablo II.
But that's not what I am after. Irmgard and
I love to play role-playing-games in multi-player cooperative campaign mode in our
home LAN - something that is unfortunately not offered by too many programs.
Unfortunately, this mode is bugged beyond recognition. You can explore the world as
a team, but that's about all that works. Trying to solve quests, ride the horses -
one of the cooler options of this game, or save and re-load the campaign all fail
more or less miserably.
I'd still say this game has hue potential and is worth buying, if you look at playing
it alone. But releasing it with a simply inoperable multiplayer mode... I strongly
hope. this gets fixed.
