Maybe I've been out of the loop on this, but I just read that Michael Dell resigned as CEO of Dell, but will stay on as Chairman of the Board. According to the report, the move is consistent with Dell providing more of a visionary role for Dell and less hands-on of the day-to-day operations of the company. Is it also coincidence that this move was announced the day after Michael Eisner of Disney was stripped of his dual-title role?
