Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition was released and with it the following updates for developers:

• Developer Resources for Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition
• Emulator Images for Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition software for Pocket PC
• Emulator Images for Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition software for Smartphone

This allows developers to benefit from the new features of the platform, such as new screen orientation and resultions.

Also, according to this article in "Integration Developer News", we will be offering a tech-preview of the next generation of the .NET compact framework for the Mobile DevCon 2004 that is due to ship with Visual Studio .NET 2005 (codename Whidbey).
