Another book I am looking forward to reading and reviewing is this one:

Coder to Developer: Tools and Strategies for Delivering Your Software by Mike Gunderloy

This looks to be a great resource chock full of advice on developer best practices and the use of tools to get the job done.  So far, this is very solid content, and I would gladly recommend this to new and seasoned developers alike.
