The biggest news for me, and the one directly impacting me as you'll soon see, is the continued evolution of http://www.pinvoke.net and more specifically, the wonderful, wonderful, useful Visual Studio .NET add-in from my bud Adam Nathan. Grab this one as this is a huge time-saver!!
Joel has some screen shots of building Rotor Whidbey on the new Longhorn drop. Yes, that's isn't a typo: Rotor Whidbey.
Speaking of building on that Longhorn drop, without the SDK release yet, it doesn't seem like I can do anything yet on the drop. The SDK doc is up but no bits yet. Am I missing something?
It's somewhat amusing to read James take notes at a CLR presentation but if you can get around his usual rhetoric and politics, there is some great CLR info here and comparisons to Smalltalk
