My blog is my business card? Hmmh ... Yes and no. Lenn Pryor [1] wrote some interesting thoughts about the value and purpose of a blog. Not everyone is interested in blogs. I know many great people who really don't care about this small time killer. Many of them just don't have time to write or read blogs. But, if you decide to invest your precious time in writing, try to be yourself. If you spend your time writing about the stuff you're not interested in, what is the purpose of your writing? Marketing, business, selling? The blogging spirit is not present, such blogs are boring. You don't dare to say, what you think? If your company doesn’t share your values and your interests, perhaps you're working for the wrong company. We encourage our employees to express their own thoughts. Is that dangerous? Yes. Sure. But, I am happy to work with people who dare to say something. That's the only way to learn new things. And to improve yourself ;-)
