As Michal and Andrew posted, the list for this year's projects to receive funding for research using Rotor is now available.  The projects that caught my eye are:

• Dario Alvarez-Gutierrez (University of Oviedo, Spain):  On the cost of securing applications: Performance and feasibility of capability-based security in the Rotor platform 
• Stéphane Ducasse (University of Berne, Switzerland):  Traits in C# 
• Antony Hosking (Purdue University, United States):  Transactional, Persistent, Managed Runtime Environments 
• Bertrand Meyer (ETH Zurich, Switzerland):  SCOOP: concurrent object-oriented programming for ROTOR
• Vladimir Safonov (St Petersburg State University, Russian Federation):  Development of Aspect.NET aspect-oriented programming tool and its integration to Microsoft software development tools and technologies 

I am looking forward to the results of these projects plus the many other exciting projects lined up this year.
