Alexander Chulacov IM'd me a link to this beautiful small form factor PC from IWill that will accept dual AMD Opteron CPUs, has 4 memory slots, supports RAID, and has an AGP slot. The design is very sleek. Mass production is slated for Septmeber, with an estimated retail price tag of $499.

Now that's some PC envy. A hard-core developer capable box that would absolutely rock at a LAN party, too. :) My laptop is nearing its end of life... you can just feel it happening as things start to go screwy. I think I've decided that another laptop just isn't cost effective for me, but maybe an SFF will be (for occasionally carting back and forth to work). In fact, it might make a great new corporate standard development PC for us...
