Implied in my earlier Burton post was that there was a brand new true CM solution that was not Source Safe. This is the most important part of Burton to me. Now my good buddy Korby verifies why he (and Microsoft) have not been added much to VSS for Whidbey and introduces Hatteras. As Korby verifies it is a spicy new SQL Server-based, fully transactional, client-server source control system. Yes, no more file corruption! If I remember correctly, it also has an ASP.NET front-end as well and implemented in .NET.
