I was at a restaraunt today and watched in horror as a parent had their kid with them and was smoking away while the kid ate, basically forcing them to inhale their second-hand smoke. Now I know I'm going to get lambasted from some people for this comment, but shouldn't this be considered child endangerment? As a child, you don't have a choice but to live with your parents. So if they smoke, they're pretty much forcing the child to smoke too. Knowing what we already know about second-hand smoke, you'd think that somebody would be thinking about this.
As I've always said ... You need a license to vote, drive or fish - but ANYONE can be a parent (no training required).
