I am actually looking forward to this years finals for two different reasons. The first reason is that I am praying that the Pistons shut down the Lakers... why? I hate the Lakers, I can't help it, I have always hated the Lakers. I just don't like em. (It is kind of convenient because I always have a team to root for in the playoffs, whoever is playing against the lakers... over the years I have actually come to like Sacramento just because of that)

The second reason is that even if the Lakers do win I will be happy to see Malone and Payton gets rings, then Malone can retire without having the Barkley syndrome plaguing him for years, and then Payton can go to a team where his job is more than just throwing it to the under-achieving big man in the middle. At this point winning is what is expected of the Lakers anyway, they have four future hall of famers.

But I really want the Lakers to lose. I would love to see the Pistons shut them down in the first game, keep them to under 70 points, and watch the fingers fly. Shaq will be crying about needing the ball more, Kobe will be bitching about not getting to shoot enough, and poor Malone and Payton will be stuck in the middle of this kids fight. I guess that is one of the reasons I have never liked this team, it always seems to be about those two and their egos. (even when it is the supporting cast that usually wins them the games)

(Sorry if this sounds over aggressive)
