Well, thanks to Murphy's law it took a lot longer than expected, but I'm finally back online (although I'm still experiencing some random drops).

First, there was the expected transition time in switching over to a new set of IPs. Then, the provisioned line from the CO ended up having a short that was only exposed when large volumes of traffic were sent/received. After that was fixed, we had a local power outage that lasted 10 hours. And then, we had some kind of router problem at the central office.

I'm still not sure that we've got everything fixed, but I've been up for 12 hours straight with no substantial packet loss. I've got an engineer coming out to run a new line from the junction box so I can make sure I don't have any more problems. The current line used to be an ISDN line, but hasn't been used in years. I don't want to eliminate any chance that the random drops will re-appear and end up being caused by using an older copper-pair.
