Sue and I watched Jonathan graduate from his private Kindegarden and pre-school Friday night. It was tough for Sue all week. It's been tough for both of us all weekend. Gosh, it feels like yesterday when he was just a little baby. They say that it all goes so fast and it does. You feel all this tremendous pride at what he is becoming and sadness at the same time. Then you wonder could I have done more, spend more time when he was younger? I know that I am in a much different place then I was 6 years ago and it's been easier with Heather but I/we have given him a lot. A hell of a lot more than my father gave me. And yet, it never feels like enough. We can take pride and joy in the wonderful smart boy that he is. He was the Prince in the play that the class put on Friday night and watching him up there with his suit and saying his lines was overwhelming. The class also sang “Ain't No Mountain High Enough!!” The entire class and parents did a series of parties all day Saturday. We've all been so very close and now some will part ways. I guess its all movement.
