Microsoft Watch is reporting that we will be graced with the first real beta of Whidbey next week, as well as some new "Express" tools for hobbyist developers. I can't wait to get my hands on the new beta, I just wish that we had a go-live license for it. I am starting a new pet project and it sucks big time to have to use 1.1.
The express tools are a pretty good idea, I know alot of people have downloaded the Web Matrix tool to try out ASP.NET, hopefully these tools will do the same for winforms. (And hopefully they will be free)
