On Tuesday of this week (6/29/2004), I presented at the Birmingham DevDays with Jerry Dixon and Ron Hostetter from Quilogy.  The Developer Evangelist for that area is Joe Healy and he is a entertaining show by himself.  Joe organized the event and kicked off the show.  (Thanks Joe for taking such good care of us.)

Russ Fustino, creator of Russ' ToolShed and one of the best MS speakers around, gave the closing keynote on Whidbey.  It was excellent and I love his intro music and the way that he keeps everyone entertained, involved, and enlightened.  Afterwards, we went to DreamLand in order to eat our body weight in ribs.  I came close.

The tip of the day came from Russ.  After seeing our cool lighted Atomic pens that we handed out to everyone at the event, he said that we should take some to the bar that evening becuase bartenders need illuminated writing utensils and such a gift would result in liquid benefits.  Thanks, Russ!
