I finally got VS 2005 to work, I downloaded the individual ISO images and loaded them directly into Virtual PC... the install failed the first time but mostly worked the second time. I have run into a number of Win32 errors, this one was quite funny:
So I got a Win32 error while the program was still installing, and it is trying to debug the program, with itself, which is not installed yet. Right....
But other than the errors it seems to be a pretty good build. I love all the enhancements to the IDE and I can't wait till they release a go-live license so I can actually use this stuff everyday. I have been checking out the Winforms updates since I have already had the chance to play with alot of the web features in earlier builds.
