I was getting my new Inspiron XPS ready for my trip to San Antonio next week (I call it The Beast - 3.4MHz P4 w/512 cache, 1G RAM, 60G 7200RMP ATA, ATI Radeon 9600 video and a great 15.4" widescreen WUXGA+ LCD ... all at a whopping 9+ lbs!). I'll be using it as my sole machine for writing, developing & browsing, so I'm installating pretty much everything (VS.NET, SQL Server, Office 2003, MapPoint, MSDN full ... you know the drill).
Well, after I finished installing I started porting some databases and code over to test & make sure everything works. I ran into a problem, so I did an IISRESET and got back the message: "Class Not Registered".
After a few Google searches I still came up blank, but luckily got a response from the MS Newsgroup (how did we ever develop without this stuff 10 years ago?). I knew that something got unregistered ... but what?
Turns out it's the program IISRSTAS.EXE. To re-register it, just use the following command:
