If you are curious about Longhorn and would like to see what others are thinking about Longhorn in your local community, check out the Longhorn Meetup Day site.  I'm not looking hard at Longhorn yet but this site has caught my attention.  I put in a local zip code and they tell me a list of sites in my area that are being considered as Longhorn Meetup sites.  After registering on the site, I can vote for my preferable site and they promise to notify later of the winning site.
