We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing team.This position is located in our Boston office in Liberty Square. Primary responsibilities include:
·As part of a team of highly skilled software engineers, design and implement major enhancements to the Adesso Platform.
·Help create the exciting new generation of Adesso utilizing state of the art .NET and Windows Mobility technologies, principally C#, WinForms, ASP.NET, Web Services and VS.NET
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
·Solid knowledge of software engineering, including the ability to unit test your code, accompanied by broad knowledge in a number of other technical areas (e.g. networking, security, etc.)
·Basic knowledge of the .NET Framework and the CLR, including assemblies, shared assemblies, Windows Forms, types and garbage collection
·Strong knowledge and experience in database technologies.SQL Server and MS Access knowledge is required.Knowledge of ADO and ADO.Net required. Any exposure to ADO.NET 2.0 and Yukon is a strong plus.
·Very strong knowledge of Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003/Windows XP based development
·Strong C#, Windows Forms and ASP.Net, utilizing Visual Studio .NET knowledge is required
·Ability to work exceptionally effectively in a team environment is required.
·At least four years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience in systems level software (e.g. operating systems, file systems) or Windows Applications development
·Exposure to Windows Mobility development is a strong plus including the .NET Compact Framework and SQL CE
·BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
