So, maybe it's just me, but I wasn't all that surprised by the new iPod. There was a ton of speculation which turned out to not to true, which sounded far fetched anyway (color screen being the most obvious).
Everything I expected came true: lower prices for the existing sizes, better interface that mimics the iPod Mini, mild software upgrades. One thing I expected but didn't see: a new top end storage device. There was a lot of talk about getting a 60 GB drive. Although we don't see it today, the pricing sort of suggests it's coming soon, in my opinion.
