As if the Dolphins off-season couldn't get any worse, Ricky Williams suddenly announced his retirement (over the phone) and flew away to an unknwon destination in Asia - unreachable for the next 6 months. Sounds like a coward's way out.

He says that he's burned out on the rules & regulations of football, admits to smoking marijuana and frequently using a masking agent to cover his drug use. Not only have the DOlphins lost a player that they gave up two 1st round picks for (for a mere 2 years of service), they lost out on any possibility of getting a capable replacement through the draft or free agency. Done even 24 hours earlier could've netted the Dolphins Eddie George for a modest amount of money. Instead, they're stuck and the season looks like it's gone down the tube.

Thanks Ricky ... FOR NOTHING! You've shown the world that you're completely selfish and a liar to boot. I hope you really enjoy living in a shack on the beach (as you've stated), but I think you'll find it much less desirable once you get there. I hope the Dolphins sue you for everything you have left so you can live out your homeless dreams in Jamaica with Bob Marley!
