The Local Authority Websites National Project (LAWs) is an initiative to provide a transactional website framework for UK local authorities. It aims to develop a set of assets that can be easily implemented on a modular basis.

The Microsoft Content Management Server Accelerator for LAWS is now available for download. This was developed by ioko365 Limited in association with Microsoft.

The LAWS Accelerator is a suite of components to allow you low cost and effort approach to making your Local Authority Website compliant with the LAWS guidelines. It also contains detailed installation guides, a best practice guide for web authors and a best practice guide for template developers.

LAWS Accelerator is provided free of charge - however, it is dependent on the MSIB Plus Pack.

The source code to the LAWS Accelerator is also available. In order to obtain the source code, please send an email to lawsaccelerator@ioko.com - note that this will need to come from a UK Local Authority website address (that is one that ends in .gov.uk).
