Here is a nice objective definition of what Indigo is composed of:

"Indigo, the communications subsystem of Longhorn, is a communications technology catch-all for Web services plumbing (COM+, MSMQ, and ASP.NET Web services), as well as instant-messaging, voice-messaging, video messaging, collaboration and content distribution technologies." [1]

I wonder what else technologies fall under the Indigo Umbrella?  Perhaps... orchestration; I still believe Microsoft will rip out the orchestration framework from Biztalk and make it available at the API level. (In Indigo.. maybe?) The idea of taking advantage of orchestration outside of Biztalk is quite appealing.
