So much for the A's pulling out another "special" post All-Start break trade this year. The best power-hitting outfielder on the free agent market went to the Twins, instead of the A's. Sure, the A's called up phenom Rich Harden to join the impressive starting rotation - but who is going to produce runs down the stretch? Dye is still on the DL (and hasn't batted over .180 all year), and nobody, batting .300 (Eric Byrnes is the highest right now at .294 with Durazo next at .274). That's terrible for a contender - or are they?
