While here in Des Moines, I found out today from Kent about the Decemeber release of the SQL Server 2005 and a possible interaction problem with Whidbey such that there was not a compatible version of Whidbey. As Bob Beauchemin says in the comments, the issue seems to be with the Decemeber SQL Server Express edition and not the full version.
