After our last Codezone meeting, we defined the following Vision statement. I'd appreciate
if you could provide me your feedback - what do you think about?
Codezone is a platform to facilitate developer and IT pro community growth by enabling
individuals to connect and work together to achieve their individual and group goals
and to foster the health of the worldwide developer and IT pro communities. This is
done by connecting individuals with the resources the need, including community content,
third-party online and offline communities, events, and other individuals.
By enabling individual contributors to connect and work together, they will have a
richer experience as a Microsoft customer. As a result the worldwide community can
realize benefits, including:
Growth of third-party community membership, both online and offline.
Increase in community contributors and event attendees.
Growth in third-party community Web site traffic.
Increase in reputation for influencers and potential influencers.
Cost savings through a reduction in product support calls.
