So today we are getting snow we should have had yesterday. It's a beautiful sight. Yet, what is there to complain? Yesterday's Christmas was sheer perfection. My wife Sue did the entire Christmas dinner, of which caused my Italian mother to elevate her into the upper levels of Sainthood in the church. My mother, the devout Italian born in Italy, has been busting Sue for 12+ years of our marriage for never cooking. This year, Sue adopted cooking and baking and now you would think that all of my Mother's dreams have come true by the ecstatic look on her face. She may even run out of things to complain about now. This was especially good as my poor Father-In-Law has been confined to a wheelchair the last 3 years and we are unable to do what we used to. We took over all the duties this year and that's the least we could do, believe me.
Jonathan dressed himself up in a suit by himself and was patient as we opened a round of gifts between each course of the meal! Heather was he usual Princess Diva self controlling the house and everyone in it. Dressed in her little Santa type dress, she brought tears to my eyes. Me? I didn't used to even like Christmas, but having two beautiful gifts like Jonathan and Heather, along with Sue, well it's all the difference. Best wishes to all.
