I reported on Christmas night that I had been unable to get VSTS Dec CTP (aka Beta 2) to install in it's default configuration. I later stated that I had filed a bug and there was a workaround to manually wipe out the left-over VS8 registry key settings. It turns out the VSTS Beta 2 un-install does not uninstall a lot of stuff in the directories either. Also, even though I followed the diurections to the letter 4-5X in the Readme, I was NOT able ever to get VSTS Beta 2 to install after Yukon Beta 2 (Dec CTP). I finally had to nuke it all and now it installs and works. Well, it's enough for VSLive! I guess. I should be clear that this was only for the VS 2005 IDE ONLY and not the other layers.
