Feed Description: .NET and everything nice
My buddies up in Columbus put together a Day of .NET which will be a day long completely free mini-conference. I was lucky that they invited me to present as well.
"Want to be a part of an ever-growing .NET developer community? Want to get knee-deep into code with some of the areaâs technology leaders? And do you want it for free? Well, your opportunity has arrived with the first ever Day of .NET in Columbus.
The event will be held at the Microsoft office in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, January 21, 2005 (yes, this is a little short notice... sorry about that). This is a day-long experience with sessions built around showing you code to enhance your knowledge of the .NET development platform. These sessions are more demo-focused than slide-focused to expose you to the ins and outs of writing .NET code. Youâll also see an in-depth preview of some of the less talked about features of Visual Studio 2005, such as ADO.NET 2.0 and WinForms 2.0."
He has a complete write-up with all the different sessions over at his blog. I will be presenting on Visual Studio .NET tips and tricks in something I like to call "Pimp Your IDE".
If you are in the area be sure and register, seating is limited.
