Rocky reminds us all about the “Indigo Day” coming up at VS Live next month. And he also briefly discusses the importance of Indigo regardless of your distributed architecture preference.

I couldn’t agree more. Whether you prefer client/server, peer/peer, n-tier, ws-*, or good ole queueing systems our choices will all have one important commonality.. Indigo as the platform. 

Indigo might not revolutionize the industry.  But,  it will engender better conversations, support, interest, solutions, and cool hacks within the community all because we will finally have a unification of Microsoft's distributed technologies.

Indigo is the Microsoft distributed programmer’s asp.net. One unified platform to learn and grow with. Now that is what excites me about Indigo.
