Rick Brewster reports that someone is trying to "sell" copies of Paint.NET on eBay. A freely downloadable project from the Univ. of Washington, this guy makes his profit from unsuspecting users by charging them as little as a penny for the product and then $6.99 for shipping & handling - almost all pure profit. And this guy has multiple listings as of today on eBay.

These are the people that ruin the Internet for the rest of us. I hope the UofW guys go after him.
