WS-Eventing – John Bristowe has updated his implementation of WS-Eventing on top of WSE. This implementation my have a longer lifespan then anticipated as it seems Indigo will not have support for WS-Eventing, at least initially.
Interop Month – Microsoft has compiled over 40 webcasts focusing on service interoperability with other vendor’s service toolkits. Make sure you sign up and learn how hard interop is and why Contract First development has so much momentum in the industry in trying to solve the interop issue. Also, if you signup through the site you receive a free Microsoft patterns and practice book. Cool!
Biztalk Patterns – Some interesting message level pattern implementations on top of Biztalk 2004. They include Sync Request/Response with Data Aggregation, its async sibling, First in First out pattern, Component Retry pattern, and the Interruptible Business Process pattern.
