have this “friend” who accidentally left his laptop in his car overnight.
He came to his car this morning, only to find a $2000 frozen piece of uselessness
(Wisconsin gets cooooold). Even after giving it his coat, hat, and a nice warm
cup of hot chocolate, it took several hours for it to thaw.
The moral
of the story is, don’t let your laptop freeze. It renders it useless.
Oh, and if you’re dumb enough to try and turn it on (like my “friend”
was), you’d understand what they really mean when they say “the screen’s
frozen”. It also gives a nice little message (after 2 minutes): “Unable
to find operating system”. Hehe…
