Some big news around Firefox in the last couple days. First, one of the key people involved with the browser is hired by Google. What does this mean? For now probably not much, but in the future it means we can see more and more interaction between Google and Firefox. It also put Google and Microsoft even more squarely aligned each other.

The other big news?

Firefox is still gaining on Internet Explorer, every day that goes by more people are moving to Firefox and away from Internet Explorer. O'Reilly even has a book called "Don't Click on the Blue E!" coming out.
