Thanks to larkware, I came across the following blog post: New/updated Icon Sets with Visual Studio 2005

Finally, developers will have access to a nice set of icons!!  This is something that I've struggled with for a while.  I currently use a mix of Kenny Kerr's icon browser to grab icons from the Windows OS, and the OpenOffice/Ximian icon library.
