Do Microsoft employees own iPods?? My answer is, WHO CARES! Brian Johnson blogs about how he disagrees with a Wired article stating that 80% of Microsoft employees own iPods.
It's this kind of tactic (both sides) that really irritate me about "technology camps". Why is it that when you work for one "camp", you MUST NOT OWN any other product that can be considered to infringe on any of their product lines? Worse, if you do own some piece of technology that you deem to be the best (for you), you are required to DUMP IT the minute that your "camp" begins to infiltrate this market!
Just let people select what's best for them - regardless of what "camp" they may or may not be in. Hey, I'm a Microsoft guy - but I own an iPod AND an iBook. Does that make me less of a Microsoft guy? Am I no longer allowed to develop using .NET because I sometimes write .NET articles on my iBook? Are we now becoming technology-prejudice?
