I just received my Roku SoundBridge M1000 - I love how nicely it plays with my iTunes application running on my PC just connecting to it via WiFi. However there is a drawback that I cannot listen to music I bought from the Apple iTunes Music Store...

From the Roku site:

Which music formats do you support?
Our built-in software supports WMA, AAC, MP3, WAV, and AIFF. To play protected WMA files, you will need Microsoft's DRM 10, which is included with Windows Media Connect. Unfortunately, rights-managed AAC files purchased from the Apple music store can not be played on SoundBridge. (Apple Lossless, FLAC and Ogg-Vorbis can be played using SlimServer.) TOP

Why don’t you support secured AAC files purchased from the Apple Music Store?
Apple does not allow streaming of files downloaded from their music store to third party devices. If they ever do, we will support them. TOP

but there is hope and help out there... better yet: JHymn
