My gosh, Charles Petzold was just sitting by himself on a sofa in the corner of the Speaker Lounge at VSLive. I should have started bowing crying “I'm Not Worthy!” I thanked Charles for making me/teaching me to be a Windows programmer starting in 1985 with his 5 editions of his books and he said “Gosh, it's been 20 years. Microsoft should commerate the date.” It was a big moment for me.
