Years ago, I worked with Paul Pazniokas at a company named Posse, where we worked on systems to allow retailers to gain control of their back offices.

Now, Paul has come up with an idea called VoteWord that would allow folks to audit their vote made on an electronic voting device.  The idea is Patent Pending, and simple, yet cool.  Check his site here.
