After a long, strange weekend, I find myself with an LCD HDTV, an ATI HDTV Wonder and a new, super-duper video card to push all those pixels to the display. Unfortunately, my MCE's OTA[1] HDTV guide listings are only ~60% correct. This is especially bad since exactly one channel broadcasts HDTV 24/7 and it's one that doesn't have any listings. And it's the one that I want record.
If you're in the same boat and haven't found it already, TitanTV is the HDTV TV guide I've been using. The guide lists both the name of the channel, as well as its UHF and <whatever the other number is>. For example it lists both 47 (UHF) and 11-1 (the other one) for WTTW-D. This is helpful for when I want to record something.
Enjoy.
[1] Over The Air. I don't actually watch much TV, so I can't exactly justify paying Mr. Cable Man another $90/mo for HDTV cable. The HDTV Wonder lets me pull 10-15 HDTV channels out of the air (like magic!), complete with Dolby 5.1 surround sound. Amazing stuff.
