I've been watching these ISP adds talking about all the "blocking" tools that they'll provide to protect you, which got me to thinking. At what point will our PCs actually be spending more cycles on detecting things to "block" rather than running applications? I mean, there's spam, spim, e-mail, viruses, trojans, spyware, etc. And it's only going to get worse.
