Still here. Still going strong.
The fact is that many big changes have been in progress in Pollock over the last year.
For instance, a whole new coordinate system; Annoucements replace trigger events; Attributes used for dynamic pane behavior; the Canvas and more.
These changes will be part of the "final" Preview version of Pollock, which is already staged for inclusion in VisualWorks 7.5.
After that release, I'll be back here covering all the changes and additions made to Pollock since my last series of updates.
Finally, Pollock is slated for Production in 7.6. That's what I'm working on now. Internally, Pollock will go into Production this summer. Yes, it really is that close. The version included in the 7.5 release has the last of the "big changes" we had planned.
A final pass at DragDrop, along with the long awaited optimization work is all that stands between the 7.5 Preview release, and Production. Once that is done, it's just some small features and bug fixes.
