Engadget reports that the Sony folks need to get back on their meds:

Mr. Karraker proceeded to dig himself a little deeper by insinuating that Sony's latest console is "much more powerful and should therefore be regarded as being in a different category." As if sparks weren't already about to fly, he then stated that Nintendo's Wii "could be considered an impulse buy more than anything else"

Earth to Sony: The fact that the Wii is attractive to a whole new gaming audience, and is available at a reasonable price is a good thing. Unlike, say, the absurdly overpriced PS3.
