Betwixt meetings last week, I managed to drum this little graphic up. The cool thing about this... It was rendered to a VisualWorks Pixmap running on the OS X Aqua VM using the Quartz backend within Cairo. And then saved as a .png file.
It was fun, because I built up the path for the Cincom Logo (that's the company I work for) once. And then just repeatedly applied random translation/rotation/scaling and random color with random alpha and stroke/filled the path.
My ultimate goal is to build this as a screen saver. Because Cairo should be able to draw to the desktop, not just Windows and Pixmaps.
