It'll be a slow week for me. My Mac went under the knife today. :( Appears that after running hard for nearly 3 years, going well beyond what I'm sure most PowerBooks are asked to do, it's hard drive is giving up the ghost. Bad sectors. And they seem to be located in tough spots, like... where the swap file is it. Which may explain why me and the beach ball have been better friends than we used to.

The great news, was that I got this discovered and sent in, 3 days before my AppleCare expires. Talk about down to the wire. So no mail probably. I've been using Windows all day, and I honestly don't know how people do it. I'm not doing anything tricky here, it's just the general window management thing. It drives me batty. I have become so dependent on Expose`. And always having "preferences" in the same place. And I miss my marshmallow background.

Oh well, wish me luck. It's gonna be a long week.
