I wasn't sure I was going to blog about OOPSLA this year. Frankly, my last couple of OOPSLA reports have been annoying ramblings of an OOPSLA junkie. Also, last year's OOPSLA was probably the OOPSLA low point for me. I don't know how much was me, and how much was the conference itself.

Anyway, I experienced an OOPSLA record yesterday: 5 talks in one day. 5 talks which I left feeling inspired and educated by what I had heard. 100% satisfaction. That's a first for me. Typically, I like some of the talks I attend in a day, but not all. Maybe I'll muster the motivation to actually do individual posts about them. Or maybe you can just be sorry you missed OOPSLA this year.
