Lots of exciting Seaside news all happening at once. First off, Seaside 2.8 has been officially released. The final version is 2.8a1-lr.518

The next exciting piece of news, at least for us, is that this version is now in the nightly vw-dev builds. So if you're in the developers program, you can grab the latest soon-to-be-supported Seaside for Cincom Smalltalk. I think I've mentioned previously that the next version of ObjectStudio 8 will also be able to run Seaside without any problems.

And finally, Arden brings us news of our new product - Web Velocity, which is a targeted version of Seaside for developing Seaside applications, using Glorp to hit the database, getting at documentation and examples easily. Basically - for those out there who really want to give Seaside a go without having to deal with the rest of Smalltalk that doesn't provide anything web useful.
