Mathew Ingram links to a lot of interesting speculation. If I had to guess, I'd say:

  • The audience for traditional TV will drop, but not die
  • Web based TV will start to become viable

Reality TV didn't push all dramatic content out after 1988, but it got big. I think a similar evolution is in store here.
